CL_CopyExistingEntity: Help me, Help you
Help us with CL_CopyExistingEntity testing....
If you're getting the CL_CopyExistingEntity disconnect bug record a demo. Right after getting kicked, check the console for the error, and write down the entity number it said. Playback the demo, and go to the end of the demo right before you were disconnect. Turn cheats on with "sv_cheats 1", and then type "cl_showents". It will print a list of all entities in game, and you can find the number that it told you it crashed on. Then, tell me what it says next to that number. We need to test this on Monkey, Aardvark, and both Openfires. 1. Get a server full of people 2. Everybody record demos 3. Do the above steps during demo playback. 4. Post results here 5. . 6. I got a demo on well, on a pretty full server, when i got the entitiy crap, ill check it later, and i think they already scrimed yesterday (e0 and AE)
edit: ALSO, i think u tried to said on both OPENFIRES (sh4x and the not ugly one), not on both SHUTDOWNS. edit2: GOOD JOB men, ur doing so much since ... well since the first time i saw u. |

unfortunately i have no demo, but i got dropped off openfire twice today, different missing client entity errors - 243 & 136.. i wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary that i can remember. Sorry if this isn't all that helpful.

It's fixed in the 2.0 patch anyway.
