Idle In IRC People
 

Ok so I joined the UGC FF IRC channel and literally the only people in there were the admins / moderators. So EVERYONE who has IRC start idling it's really not that hard...

1) In IRC click the Options Tab

2) Make sure you have GameSurge selected as your server

If It is not then follow these steps:

1. In IRC click the Options Tab
2. Go to the “Servers” section under the connect category.
3. You should see a page with a list of files. Navigate your way to the “GameSurge” file and click the “Select” Button
4. Once that is done. Navigate back to the Connections Catagory

3) Under the Connection Category click on the Options Selection

4) In this section you will find the "Preform" button. Click that bad boy!

5) In the new window that opens you need to do a few things:

• First make sure the "Enable preform on connect" button is CHECKED
• Second copy the following lines into the "Preform Commands:" section:

/join #sta-ff
/join #ugc-ff
/join #tfl-ff
/join #fortressforever
/join #ff.pickup

6) Click OK

7) Click OK again (in the main screen)

8) On the main page click the "Connect to Server" button.

9) Sit back and bask in the glory of your success...maybe even reward yourself with a nice refreshing beverage or a frosty chocolate milkshake!

~ If we want more leagues to start up and get active we need to prove to these guys that FF is still kicking so show support for your favorite leagues and idle in their channels! And yes I also added STA to the list...they need support too...I have been talking to the admins there and they are considering starting up their FF league again too, so this simple task will go a long way in pushing them in the right direction!

EDIT: TFL added to the list as they have decided to start up leagues again!
