unable to play 2.0 cryptic crash (Index Buffer)
 
everyin time I've tried to play since 2.0 release i get the following message

failed to lock index buffer in CMeshDX8::LockIndexBuffer


any clues?

Hm, seems to point to direcxt 8? Tried switching to either DX 7 or DX 9?

no, i said that my mother forced me to install it for her. i use IE. i end all AOL proccesses when she's done checking her email.
