Reserved Slots
Can someone explain this to me? The Old Timers server, mainly-
Who is capable of using them and How many are there Is it still 2? Also, there seems to be a problem in the server browser where it shows that the server is only 21 players. |
(removed by Scuzzy, sorry 82, not quite right...)
edit: LOL Can't blame a guy for trying. |
Anyone can have a reserved slot on the [o-t] servers.
Here is how the reserved slot system is specifically setup for the Old Timers servers: http://forums.oldtimersclan.com/faq....reserved_slots It explains exactly how they work, we do NOT kick players with ping or to open reserved slots up for clan members. In reality there are an unlimited number of reserved slots, it returns them as regular players leave. We have "two" slots designated as reserved slots to keep the flow of reserved people coming into the server. Donations come with a free reserved slot on all servers 24/7: http://forums.oldtimersclan.com/payments.php Length of time varies depending on the donation, the best times are recurring donations: $10 for 3 weeks or $50 for four months. One-time donations can be made as well. These donations go to the $159 per month server costs as well as the web hosting and other clan associated expenses that we incur. Wedding gifts for clan members, Baby gifts for clan members, gifts for family emergencies, special promotional contests (like the $100 forum screenshot contest), the occasional equipment for clan members like headsets, etc, are NOT taken out of this fund. Those things are funded separately outside the reserve slot system. The reserve slot donations go solely to server-type expenses. Scuzzy |

Thanks bros.
It's been a long time since I've played, and wanted to know what was new. Also, the server still says a max of 21 players... I blame the sourcetv. |
