readable, maby add a little more contrast, brigeter letering

and suggestion, remove the name and email. I honestly hate it when I see that in maps, it ust takes away from the enviornment, and its a bit cocky tbh.

in some maps it does take away from the environment but it doesnt seem to on this one.i wouldnt call it cocky either he just wants to get his name out there.be proud that you put a map out there for the community, let them know who done it(without going over board).

Cocky? It's more like copyprotection, if someone wants, for some reason, steal it, they'll have harder time doing that.
Also as seen here if someone wants to re-make it they know where to send the e-mail to.
As of the enviroment, this is a game, and everyone should know that.

Oh, believe me, my life is far deeper and better than yours, so don't even think about touching that subject. I got into this topic because, after all, it is my business. Multiple custom maps throughout history (not only TFC, think about other variety of games), mappers tend to display some sort of copyright / policy / whatever into their maps. You mentioned how it is cocky, I just can't seem to compile a comprehension towards your statement. In no way is it meant to be cocky my friend, it is displayed for other variety of reasons. You have the right to a suggestion (and we all appreciate ideas), I just simply told you to think twice before posting an illogical response. I may agree that it is placed in a wrong section of the map, perhaps my suggestion will be better. How about moving that into the info_player_start area (as in, when one connects to the server, the first thing they see is the mapper's information). Many TFC maps have this, I'm sure you know what I am stating here. We'll see...

I like the satin better than only one colour. If you have problem with the satin effect, dont look at it. I dont intend to make everything by hand on that thing.
If you have so much time, why dont you do it.

So until then I inted to keep that notice thing because really I dont have to chainge the font and the crappy colouring with the poor photoshop blending, just but not only because you have problem with it and I have always hated the way you post your constructive critisism that way. ;)

to kinda blend it into your map maybe make it transparent and a decal and just stick it on the wall or something..

i like seeing that sorta thing in maps.the only thing that bothers me is all of the black on the sign. just make it transparent.

Actually the backround is not black ;) it has various shades of grey, kinda like military camoflogue. I wish not to make it as decal because that would mean I need big plank wall to put it on, that wouldnt look too good...
Also, I made the texturematerial act like glass when I made the vtm so it's kinda like screen.

Personally I would do this in military font, printed onto a plain concrete wall like spray paint. If you do the wise thing and remove the brick *hint hint* you will have many walls to choose from :)

I agree, making a decal with your message from that wartorn font and putting it on a random wall would look much more professional. Do something crazy with the vmt so the decal looks crazy.
