2 GB DDR2 1066
EVGA Geforce 8800GTS 320MB Superclocked (considering SLi)
22 inch widescreen LCD (1680x1050)
NZKT Full Tower case w/8 fans
EVGA 680i Mobo w/ full 16x SLi on both slots
Hauppauge WinTv HVR 1600 (record HD via antenna)
2 SATA 120GB HDs (i dont need more than that because i have a file server on my network with over 1TB of space)

I have a 600W PSU and I think it will run another 8800GTS but not sure.

9 / 10.. The 320MB 8800GTS is slower then a 512MB GT so a 1 point deduction.

MSI GT880GT OC 512MB (stock at 660 / 1900)
GIGABYTE GA-M57SLI-S4 SLI mobo

This thread is on the edge...

Gambit:

-2 for ATI
but +1 for Seagate!

uBeR 03-23-2008 10:56 PM

Can we have a who has the worst computer thread? I think I would win:

1.8 GHz Intel Celeron
512 MB RAM (2 x 256)
ATi Radeon 9600 SE
147 GB HD space (32 + 115)
17" CRT
Windows XP Pro

greenday5494 03-23-2008 11:02 PM

nah, i would win that:

2500+ 1.6 GHz
GeforceMX440
1GB OF RAM (2x 512)
14"LCD
WinXP HOME
160GB HDD

thats my old PoS. Now for my new PoS :D
5600+X2 ~2.8GHz
2GB of DDR800 RAM
nVIDIA 8800GT (256MB of VRAM :()
160GB HDD
same 14" LCD
but i upgraded to PRO instead of Home.

MightyLotu 03-23-2008 11:29 PM

1.53 GHZ AMD Athlon (tm) XP 1800
256MB RAM
60GB HD
some crappy 32MB vid card

my computer crashes when playing tfc with 20+ people
it also crashes while playing quake 1 for 2 minutes every time
must be the overheating cus of too much cpu usage or whatever

booyah!

on the bright side: 22 inch lcd, logitech surround speakers(though 3 speakers don't work cus of my old computer)

greenday5494 03-23-2008 11:44 PM

dude, you should REALLY upgrade. i mean, if you cant play TFC, thats pathetic.

MightyLotu 03-24-2008 10:04 AM

yea i used to be fine like a year ago, hell i've even played a bunch of hl2 games/mods on this machine at 800x600 res though.. but yea it's getting old and i guess the fan doesn't work well anymore
i'm still able to play tfc well as long as no more than 20 people are playing

i'm planning on getting a new computer one of these days

Ihmhi 03-24-2008 10:05 AM

It would be hard to explain my processing power in mundane numbers. My CPU is partially merged with infinity.

AMD 2800 (1.25 Ghz)
1 GB RAM (2 x 512)
265 GB HD Space (150 + 115)
nVIDIA 6800 GT
Same 17" CRT
Windows XP Pro.

greenday5494 03-24-2008 07:33 PM

haha, thats funny. you're upgrading to an old computer.. at least my new "PoS" can play Crysis. HEHE!!!! jk

Circuitous 03-24-2008 10:16 PM

New PoS's are good for installing Windows 98/DOS and playing classic games without hacks and workarounds.
