9/10 Gambit: -2 for ATI  but +1 for Seagate! |
Can we have a who has the worst computer thread? I think I would win:
1.8 GHz Intel Celeron 512 MB RAM (2 x 256) ATi Radeon 9600 SE 147 GB HD space (32 + 115) 17" CRT Windows XP Pro |
nah, i would win that:
2500+ 1.6 GHz GeforceMX440 1GB OF RAM (2x 512) 14"LCD WinXP HOME 160GB HDD thats my old PoS. Now for my new PoS :D 5600+X2 ~2.8GHz 2GB of DDR800 RAM nVIDIA 8800GT (256MB of VRAM :() 160GB HDD same 14" LCD but i upgraded to PRO instead of Home. |
1.53 GHZ AMD Athlon (tm) XP 1800
256MB RAM 60GB HD some crappy 32MB vid card my computer crashes when playing tfc with 20+ people it also crashes while playing quake 1 for 2 minutes every time must be the overheating cus of too much cpu usage or whatever booyah! on the bright side: 22 inch lcd, logitech surround speakers(though 3 speakers don't work cus of my old computer) |
dude, you should REALLY upgrade. i mean, if you cant play TFC, thats pathetic.
|
yea i used to be fine like a year ago, hell i've even played a bunch of hl2 games/mods on this machine at 800x600 res though.. but yea it's getting old and i guess the fan doesn't work well anymore
i'm still able to play tfc well as long as no more than 20 people are playing i'm planning on getting a new computer one of these days |
It would be hard to explain my processing power in mundane numbers. My CPU is partially merged with infinity.

|
New PoS's are good for installing Windows 98/DOS and playing classic games without hacks and workarounds.
