CFFGameRules
 

Hey guys I'm in a bit of a bust here. Whenever I join a server it crashes to desktop and comes up with a thing saying "Game Rules could not load CFFGameRules.cfg" or something like that. Yeah I don't know how to fix it. Anyone got a way to solve this it would be much appreciated.

Looks like you downloaded the server exe instead of the client executable.

The correct one is FortressForever.exe

Make sure you get the CLIENT download and not the SERVER download.

My friend did that. Twice.

It does happen sometimes with the client version though.. I think it's when you try to join a server through the steam browser.

I dled it again but I had to wait a bit and went to bed and that was a few days ago. Now I find that it still isn't working. Not the gamerules but the FortressForever 1.zip won't even open or anything... Now this is odd cause I don't see anything wrong with it.

What are you using to unzip it with?

sirius.. you have to get the exe anyway
