A corporation's goal is maximize profit, not minimize it.
Do you want to know why your argument is completely bunk? It's because if they paid each of their 2,000,000 full-time employees $6,000 more per year, their profit would be $0. That's something their shareholders would be happy with, I'm sure.
And actually, their profits are at 11.3B with 1.9M employees, many of which I assume are only part-time.
