In no way did I mean you should lie and say you like it when you think it sucks.
What I meant was that there's less negative douche bag ways to express your opinion. Saying things like "That's terrible" when a nicer option would be "it needs some improvement".
If it was my work being called "terrible" I would have reacted like leilei did. If you would have said "it needs improvement" that is a whole different story. I'm just saying there's no need to be rude.
Just like I said about the guy in my art class. Let's see you get a job in something related to art, or even print, and use the same terms you used regarding leilei's work. I'm sure there would be many people telling you to go fuck yourself and learn how to properly critique people's work instead of taking the cheap way out and describing it with one highly negative word.
