Kev, I think that it's simply a matter of your point of view. Some people don't think seeing such content is offensive, and actually enjoy it, such as myself. It's definitely not "family friendly", though. So yeah, like everyone else said, just play on servers that don't permit those sprays. [o-t] would be a great place to start.
Saying that it's offensive and immature though, is bound to get some snarky replies from angry people.
