Problem Downloading Maps

Hey guys, for starters, I want to apologize if this has already been asked/addressed, I couldn't find it anywhere!

In any case, while joining a server that is playing a map I do not have(just like when joining a TFC server), It initializes the map for download, but never really starts. I have downloaded a map or two this way before with no problems, from the same servers, so I was just wondering if that's an error on my end, or theirs, and if mine what I can do about it. Thanks!

The map is too big so the server will not send it.
