This is where you admit you're a huge dork for a certain game, series of games, style of gameplay, etc.

I'm a huge Harvest Moon dork. I don't know what the fuck it is about the damned farming game, but I love that shit to death. I used to play Harvest Moon 64 five hours a day every day after school.

My favorite game so far is Back To Nature (the PSX one). I've yet to try any of the ones beyond PS2 as I worry if they can capture that PSX perfectness.

What about you guys?

Could pwn II up on impossible mode, especially on a level called Broken Alliance - so, so awesome.

You should fire up the SNES one in an emu or something, I've prefered it to every one in the series aside from Back to Nature. A Wonderful Life (ps2/gc) is pretty good as well. Unfortunatly never played the N64 one.

I guess though I'd have to say I'm a dork for the Suikoden series. Bought the first game not knowing if it was any good, ended up playing it more than halfway though in my first sitting. And It's just gone on from there.

I used to be an MMO dork. I played the original everquest and accumulated 700 days played across all my characters.

I'm a big warcraft/starcraft nut too, I liked the Ages of Empire line as well but it sorta got a little too complicated... too many intricacies. Warcraft was simpler although I wasn't a huge fan of Warcraft 3, I really hope they don't botch Starcraft 2.

I'm also a huge civilization fan, Civ II is still my favorite. Or any of those games that were explore and conquor turn based games.

Eh, if you can get hold of 1/2/3/5 then do so, all great. 3's my favourite of the lot (I liked the way it splits the story between three heroes, some don't...), but 2 isn't far behind, just because the cooking minigame is so awesome

4 was fairly dissapointing though. Worth getting cheap... or something...

Tactics... depends on if you like tactics style games, really. It's alright I guess, nothing special - but based on 4. It tries to explain the plot from 4 a bit, as a lot of it wasn't really explained towards the end.

WW2 shooters/RTS, Stealth/Espionage (MGS, Death to Spies), and Warhammer... both table top (Warhammer and 40K) as well as the games.

Oh yeah, Final Fantasy Tactics. None of that Advance crap. Pure, sweet, PSX goodness. They really fucked up FFT with Advance. Really bad. Really. Really. Bad.

Pretty much. The other thing are the different races. Oh my god what a bad system the different races are. The best part about the other game was being able to be a Ninja that casts Black Magic and poops out potions and floats. None of that in FFT:A
