Hyeah! Hyeah! Hyeah!
Here's a tweak for those who can't get enough of the old school:
I missed the classic jump sound (from Quake, originally) in my Fortress experience, so I just opened \Steam\SteamApps\team fortress classic.gcf and found root\tfc\sound\player\plyrjmp8.wav I exported it, and put it into \Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods\FortressForever\sound\ player\footsteps\movement I backed up jump1.wav, jump2.wav, and jump3.wav and replaced all three with the plyrjump8.wav file. Now when I bunnyhop I can sing along with that familiar hyeah! hyeah! hyeah! hyeah! Here's what I used: http://files-upload.com/files/517738/plyrjmp8.wav Many cheers to the development team! This is the true Team Fortress legacy! The war is never over! FORTRESS FOREVER! -Joker |
