One cannot tell how good a game is by screenshots.

XP Home is $89.99, MCE $109.99, Pro $137.99 according to NewEgg. Its not bank breaking.
Hell, XP Home is one days worth of work for me. |

No, you lose, that was a bad and senseless point. You're just mad you won't be able to run Crysis' pwnage.

Google it but also one cannot tell how good a game is by just watching a video until you actually play the game but Yeh this game looks amazing |

In one of the videos of the fight on the carrier, one of the soldiers gets hit by the freeze beam and just sort of... tips over...
It's the funniest thing I've ever seen. I think it's on the 15-minute shaky-cam video. |

Yeay for confusion in the thread.
Crytek is the engine. Crysis is the game. Crysis is not a sequel or continuation of FarCry, infact, FarCry has nothing to do with Crysis at all. |

You cannot say they don't look identical in terms of appearance. For example, big jungle, guns, enemies all topped with similar gameplay :P

wow, a mediocre alien shooter that requires the latest hardware however its graphical quality is only defined by the amount of shadows it can put all over the place. doom3...ut2007...crysis3...yawn.

Why are people calling this Crysis 3? That's like people calling TF2 TFC2.

1. It shall be teh pwnage.
2. Teh pwnage it shall be. So stop bitching because you're jealous you can't run it. Don't even say I'm wrong I know I'm not because everyone loves Crysis. |

Don't get me wrong I look forward too this as another mindless shooter to kill of time but I highly doubt there'll be any worthwhile and captivating story behind it unlike HL2 etc. It's after all in essence just a techdemo of the Cryengine2, but then again one could say the same thing about HL2 for Source but meh it's not the same. The engine's ability to have pretty much the whole environment breakable and to actually break where you shoot is awsome and will account for some excellent games to come. Brings me back to the the fun of playing Red Faction 1 not the console ripoff that was the 2nd. Tunneling through the maps was awsome. |
