I'm actually really pissed off. I bought it the other night assuming that I would gain access to the TF2 beta today nothing. I would have waiting an extra month to buy the game if it was for this "exclusive beta."

I'm conmsidering sending an e-mail over we don't get anything by tomorrow...

where you reading this what gabe posted? thats still not an excuse to not release the beta imo, if they werent ready or didnt have all their server files in line maybe they shoulda thought about their damned deadlines in the first place imo. but thats just me, its one of the few times i'm actually genuinly bothered by a companies lack of sticking to their deadlines, mainly because it made the FF crew rush out a product they didn't want to rush out, i'm not saying the FF crew would have got much done during the past couple days but you never know.

arghhhh yar so i'm disapointed needless to say, but i did however expect it seeins as it is valve and all :P this TF2 thing is bound to become vaporware imo

I'm feeling pretty dicked over right about now too. I was told I'd get a TF2 beta today, so I preordered the game. I've been checking the damn site all day long and nothing. Typical Valve.

It's not that I don't appreciate being given the option, it's that the only reason I bothered to preorder the game was to play the Beta. I preloaded it and here I sit with nothing.

I like how the date of relase for TF changed from "October 10th" to "October 2007"

Even when the offical date was October 9th (on my birthday).

They are in Bellevue, Washington. It's not even 10PM there yet. They did NOT say the time of release, just the date.
They still have 2hrs to go yet.

I think the Better Business Bureau could use a few complaints against Valve.
