Big list of questions...
Since I couldn't find anwsers to any of these questions, I thought i'd be posting them here.
- The guns that are being dropped, can they be picked up? - Is bunnyhopping the same as in TFC? - Knowing the explosions look really cool, is the splash damage still equal to TFC or is it somebit diffrent? - When performing a concjump, in the video's you look kinda spacy/weird/invisible, so is there actually a moment of invisibility? - In TFC often when you aimed exactly at the head sometimes you just didn't make a headshot, while when you aim a little above it you actually do. Is this changed in FF? - Are spy-pills still in FF? - Can you still make a 1-hit kill with a knife? - Is there a list of damage for each gun? Something like: Shotgun - weak, Super Shotgun - Normal. - Is there anything added to spectating? - Are teleporters still there? - Is there any protection made to spawnspamming or massinfecting? Well that pretty much was it.. If I come up with anymore questions I'll put them in. I only have 1 question left, but it's a question where everybody has a diffrent anwser too... Is the "good 'ol TFC-feeling" back in FF or not? |

No - Is bunnyhopping the same as in TFC? A bit different. It's capped to 170% speed I think. - Knowing the explosions look really cool, is the splash damage still equal to TFC or is it somebit diffrent? They're smaller but will be slightly increased in the next patch, but still probably smaller than in TFC. - When performing a concjump, in the video's you look kinda spacy/weird/invisible, so is there actually a moment of invisibility? The gun moves down because of the conc effect as your view rotates. No invisibility. - In TFC often when you aimed exactly at the head sometimes you just didn't make a headshot, while when you aim a little above it you actually do. Is this changed in FF? Depends on the hitboxes, but I guess it's better in FF. - Are spy-pills still in FF? Yes, but the effect is slightly different. It makes your health display a random color, shows some enemies as friendlies... - Can you still make a 1-hit kill with a knife? Yes but only if you hit to the back. No sidestabbing like in TFC. - Is there a list of damage for each gun? Something like: Shotgun - weak, Super Shotgun - Normal. Don't think so, make one yourself - Is there anything added to spectating? A "follow the flag" feature is suggested but not implemented yet. - Are teleporters still there? No. Never will be. - Is there any protection made to spawnspamming or massinfecting? Infecting should be not possible in spawns but it doesn't seem to work atm or maybe I'm mistaken... Spawnspamming depends on the map, I'm trying to make my maps so that you can't spam the spawns at all. - Is the "good 'ol TFC-feeling" back in FF or not? Hell yeah! |

Nope! Just fun decoration. Is bunnyhopping the same as in TFC? Nope! There are some similarities, but there are also some differences. Try it out hehe. Knowing the explosions look really cool, is the splash damage still equal to TFC or is it somebit diffrent? It's similar in a lot of cases, but not necessarily the same. When performing a concjump, in the video's you look kinda spacy/weird/invisible, so is there actually a moment of invisibility? No invisibility, but there is a blur. In TFC often when you aimed exactly at the head sometimes you just didn't make a headshot, while when you aim a little above it you actually do. Is this changed in FF? What you're talking about here are the hitboxes (where hits register vs. what you see on your screen for a player). We tried to make the hitboxes reasonably accurate, but it's likely that you will still find some slight mismatches between the visual player model and where hits register. Are spy-pills still in FF? Not exactly. The spy's secondary grenade is the disorienting gas grenade. Can you still make a 1-hit kill with a knife? Yep, but it might take some practice. Is there a list of damage for each gun? Something like: Shotgun - weak, Super Shotgun - Normal. Not really, but I can see how people would find that helpful Is there anything added to spectating? Hmm, don't think so really. Are teleporters still there? The engineer can't build teleporters, but map-makers can add in a "static" teleporting functionality if they want. Is there any protection made to spawnspamming or massinfecting? Hmm, not in any strong fashion. We're open to listening for options! Is the "good 'ol TFC-feeling" back in FF or not? That's for the players to decide. Some will probably say yes, others no. Happy fragging!
