This was pretty good
a few suggestions would be the transitions which were sudden, and maybe instead of text on black, you could do text over the video (think they're called overlays) |

Finally got to watch the vid. I liked it, I wish my demos would play back as smoothly as yours, I'd try making some videos again. But something happened and my demo playback is choppy as hell and I can't figure out how to correct the issue.

playdemo demoname.dem Shift + F2 to pause it startmovie moviename raw Exit console, then unpause endmovie That's now I record. Yeah, it takes up 100+ gigs on my hard drive, but it's very smooth. |

It's the same for me, but I think it's just my PC struggling (it's quite low-end).
Although I can create a dedicated server, run source TV and record me playing inside it doing something completely smoothly. Must get round to watching someone elses PoV at some point and see what happens then, but I r lazy... |

It's the playback that's laggy, I wouldn't even be able to use fraps as opposed to startmovie because my demo playback is choppy as shit, and I have a pretty decent computer too. |

Hammock, how did you save the movie then? I thought startmovie command was the only way to record from source recorder.
Another question, are the files saved as jpegs, pngs, or tga files? Right now mine save as TGA files, but i distinctly remember some time before i got it to save as jpegs, but im not sure. |

Look this has nothing to do with my fps, all background sceanary is smooth, all textures are clean, it's only the player models. When I view my demos the players on my screen shake like each one is in a martini shaker while going about a normal stable world. |
