Hold on a sec, the name of this thread still applies.

Now, by updates, we mean actual game updates and not bullshit media updates.

Duh.

On another note:

7777th reply (7778th post). Do I win some kind of Jackpot or something? Or do I just get the standard luck +1 bullshit?

Dammit, you're right!

By the way, I've been religiously listening to the Ricky Gervais show, absolutely fell in love. All the way on my cross-canada trip I had it on... so quotable.

Glad to hear you are enjoying the show. Karl is truly a marvel of modern science.

Here is all you will ever need in life:
http://www.pilkipedia.co.uk

All your Ricky, Steve, and Karl needs in one small location. It is truly a great community. A new 40 minute free podcast from Ricky's FAME tour in England just got uploaded on the forum.

Also, if you can't get enough Ricky, Steve, and Karl (like me) there are about ~100 hours of Xfm radio shows from the gang (2001-2006; pre-podcast) downloadable from Pilkipedia (see above) or your favorite torrent site (be sure you get one with all the episodes). Most people prefer the Xfm show-Karl to the podcast-Karl. I think it's just because there is more round-headedness to enjoy.

Hah, alright, thanks for the info!

I'm tempted to buy an 'I could eat a knob at night' shirt, but I know I'd be the only one who appreciated the joke...

Yeah, liking British comedians is a problem living outside of England. Really tough to find someone in day-to-day life that shares your interest.

Also, have you watched the BBC (original) version of "The Office" or "Extras"? If not, I recommend it. They are both amazing (written and directed by Ricky and Steve).

My dad just got Season 1 of the british Office, and he says it's absolutely brilliant, so I'm going to get that off him and check it out soon enough.

OI! NOOOOOOOOOOOO! Even Northern Ireland is part of the UK but not technically Britain. (UK = United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland)

UK version of Coupling is way better than the US one by like a thousand times.

If you like it, also get "Extras," and be sure you do not miss out on the "The Office" Christmas Special.

I say that as though I am completely ignorant of the terms "Britain," and "United Kingdom" and which countries they include. Which I am.

Let's see if I can make sense out of this:
Britain = England, Scotland, Wales, (and maybe part of Ireland)?
United Kingdom = England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland (or just Northern Ireland)?

NO WAI!

Threads can never die.

They only drop off the face of the earth for a few years, just waiting for the chosen n00b to bump them back to their former glory.

Unless they got locked or deleted by the thread-slaying, flame-stopping, e-cool mods.

Such is the rules in the circle of (forum) life.
