Hey is there any way we can contact GameServers to update their base FF files? Once 2.1 comes out I plan to do a reinstallation of the :e0: Community, Identity, Stability |FastDLs| Server. To help possibly improve lag issues that have recently begun to happen.

Your fastDL shouldn't effect your game server performance. People DL the files from your fastDL site which is usually on a different server than your game server.
If I remember right we got your working a couple months back and that is in fact the case.

See fast downloads improve loading times by being able to let the client download from a regular web server instead of trickle DL from your game server.

enter a support ticket with a tracert to your game server be prepared for them to blame it all on recent changes you made (even if none) or your admin program.

Lastly good luck have patience with them.

Oh no he never mention that Fast DLs was the problem, server been a bit choppy lately, not sure why.

Well there are some possible reasons as to why it might be lagging now.

Gameservers, to begin with, don't run the greatest boxes out there. Their servers are pretty outdated in technology and when they clutter their boxes with hundreds of servers, it's gonna get messy. Think of it as an elevator filling up with more and more people. But hey, that's what you get for a cheap servers.

I'd recommend www.myinternetservices.com for your next purchase. They may be as cheap (in fact, cheaper since their pubs cost the same as their privs, .95 a slot) but at least they offer some decent servers. Most importantly, they don't clutter them like Gameservers does.

except for the fact they dont offer FF servers... or am i missing something?

and isnt the GF server gameservers? hoop said it was.
