Just came off a server with some guy speedhacking

Hey all, (sorry for my language)

I played on a server and I saw a cheater name of <removed> (if someone uses a cheat site for their name, don't post it please). He used a speedhack and made publicity for his site of cheats.

What can we do?
I have some enough of these whores of cheaters

that was one fast pyro.

i noticed there isn't a 1 second penalty lag when he's speedhacking like there is in TFC. strange.

oh...BTW, you shouldn't have posted the demo and his name here.

Now the peeps that like to grief/cheat see this, they will know where to go to get the hack. good advertising for the hacker.

he was again on my server with a second idiot with the same speedhack (got informed by email from a player)

both are now banned - sorry for the delay

how do you run a dem?

Open up FF and open the console, in the console type

playdemo name-of-demo-file

give it time to load

after recording a demo to play, have to either be in a game, or starting your own server inside FF, then in console type in
play awsomevideo

which awsomevideo can be replaced with the actual name of the demo. then it will cache then play the dem for you.

edit:YOU BEAT ME... *shakes fist* i shall have my vengence mwhahahah

You also got it wrong, it's playdemo not play

actually play still works, cause after typing play and hit space, it will add the rest of the command or works just the same :P

well what i used to do when i recorded to avi with fraps
