wtf are my controls...
I keep reading up on the scripting threads and it seems to me that there are a LOT of people using WASD configs for basic movement.
I can appreciate this setup (like the arrow keys but... shifted over...), but I've been playing FPS games with QWES since Quake 1! Don't really know why... but it seems to work better? I try to play WASD and I keep hitting the E/W at same time when things get crazy. Any thoughts? |

I don't use wasd keys, but it seems to be the most popular setup. You can always change the controls in options, as Desyphur said.

when i first started playing FPSs on the PC, i used the arrow keys, rofl. then my friend while teaching to be a spy in TFC (good ol'e ihmihi) was appaled that iwas still using arrow keys. i was like huh? he taught me the magic of WASD. my fingersare no longer cramped, red and messed up.

I use the arrow keys in CS. 0 is jump, ctrl is crouch, shift is walk, 1 would be reload (or middle mouse button depending on the gear I have).
I find this set up better suited for slower paced shooters. TFC, however, seems to require WASD or WQSE due to grenades and BHopping. |
