DEVELOPERS: func_ladder praise from a noob mapper :)
I can't believe this! The func_ladder works in FF. Thank you so much! You know how difficult it is to make a real Rats map in Half Life 2 DM because of how Valve screwed up the ladders? Now instead of using work arounds and silly little things like ropes hanging down a wall or teleporters, anyone making a Rats map can have real mouse-like effects again because the func_ladder works!!!! Amen brother. I don't know if this was intentional or just worked originally and you guys just decided not to change anything or what; but all I can say is having the func_ladder working in Hammer for FF is awesome!
I'm converting my Rats map right now *Frags* |

it was intentional. and i agree with you, as well as the rest of the community - that's why func_ladders are the way they are.

You don't even have to type in "func_ladder" use the "tools/ladder" texture.
