There are a lot of testers who don't rub peoples nose into it. Any tester that does....man....that ain't cool. That's tantamount to getting the last copy of the newest movie that everyone is dying to get, and standing there...in front of the crowd, waving it like a fucking flag, bragging and looking down on all those who didn't get it....and expecting to not get your ass kicked.

Beta testers can be proud, without being a dick about it. There are a bunch of people on the beta team, that are active on the forums, and neither you or I know that they are.

Biggest kudos go to the dev team. Without them, the testers would have nothing to test, and all of us would be looking at TF2 thinking...."Huh?!"

Ok, maybe not all of us...I know the game will have players, and lots of them. However, it doesn't seem to be the kind of game that I, personally, will enjoy.

Fine. I won't deny that. However, it doesn't change a thing. I have, for a long time, advocated patience with both the testers and the dev team. Even if I weren't on the beta team(which, for the record, I only recently joined), my feelings would not change. To stand there and "NYAH NYAH NYAH!", is childish to say the least. While I DO advocate a certain level of immaturity, that crosses the line. Which is one of the reasons I never publicly came out and said anything about it.
No hard feelings there, Furby....but I promice you, I will get a crowbar kill on you.

TF2 did it different, what they did was give the Fortress Genre a nice makeover and polish. its different. which is good.

we as past TFC'ers some, like me are hesitant for change. this isnt a bad thing as it shows we love our TFC.

FF more or less seems to be a remake of TFC, not that it is a bad thing, as a matter of fact I feel they make enough effort to also give their version a nice makeover that differentiate's FF from TFC and you can get a different feel for the game as u did TFC.

what it is going to come down to is preference.
Cartoony versus More fine edged grunt TFC.

I, for one, will not base my preference on graphics. I think it more comes down to combat vs. movement/speed.
