Dystopia and Eternal Silence are now on Steam.
Long ago I said that they would be the first of the new batch to be Steamworksed, and now... :P FF and Zombie Master (and Hidden) all need to get on Steam. |

The best thing is ES is still running on old engine, so it looks like you don't need OB engine to be Steamworks'd.

Perhapse... but we are waiting until we have the game working on the Orange Box.
There are other changes in the works for the OB version(currently hoping to have the number 3.087 to it's credit). JK.... 3.0 is the target version for OB.

The devs have been working on both the OB conversion and the updates for 2.3. Expect 2.3 fairly soon.

Either way, step 1 for the FF programmers after we get 2.3 out is to finish up the OB port as soon as possible. Just gotta merge our OB port over to our main code, fix all the new bugs, and add OB features. Should be done sometime before the world ends in 2012.
It's been so long, and had so many times saying things like "when we get to OB" that it's kinda hard to believe we're finally going to start finishing that god damn port. They mostly come at night...mostly. |

Higher res textures
New Partical system (which means we will see better looking explosions from nades and secondaries, flamethrower, etc....) Engine optimization? Not sure but I think OB games run better than ep1 games. Some other stuff that I can't think of right now
