There's no news I can give out now. If you have any coding experience with the SDK you can apply to be on the dev team. Or you can apply to be a beta tester.

Maybe he's basing it on the progress made in the past 3 years. It all depends on your perspective obviously, but in some ways there has been a lot of progress, in other ways it's been worse than if nothing had been done at all.

So you're not recruiting newbies? Gimme a good starting point. I took a vb.net programming class... created a basic ff map. I mean reallly... I'd like to learn - just dont know where to start? Should I grab a c++ book from the lib?? or what

ps. revive my beta app.. why'd i get declined besides from the fact that im a complete and utter assclown on irc.

That would be a good start if you want to code. Use te SDK to create a mod and see what you can do with it. Or keep practicing with Hammer until you have something worth showing off. It's no use to us hiring somebody who needs a year to get up to speed.

If you still want in the beta, bump your application thread and tell us why you would make a good tester. There are many beta apps that have not been acted upon. I don't know why that is, but IMO we can always use more active playtesters.
