Which class has the greatest advantage?
Personally, I think this game is as balanced as TFC was if not more. To prove myself right, I'd like to see everyone's opinion on which class they feel has the biggest advantage.

HW, just way too powerful. Mows anything down with ease. A little to quick I think too (only played it a couple times, so don't remember the move speed too much). Walking + shooting is kind of crazy too, I think he should have to sit still to shoot the gattling gun (or whatever it may be called).

If any of the classes are over powered it'd be the HWGuy, though I've found that Napalm + IC + Flamethrower can really take care of him along with anyone else around em.
Something to add: While the HWG is firing, his turn doesn't seem to be effected like in TFC (I might be wrong). It was made apparent that FF is not TFC but this little handicap could probably help tone him down. |

I also said HW because I think he does a bit too much damage long range (I noticed this on the giving end not the receiving though). Of course a lot of the new players haven't quite figured out how to concjump past or toss a conc in my face yet so I might be singing a different tune in a month or so.

We probably won't know since the people who will become the best at ff will figure out little tricks that make the classes even better. FF has it's perks and in a month or two you might change your mind about what class is the best.

HW is way over powered as it stands. He moves way to fast for a fat ass and doesn't even look like a fat ass anymore.

If they made the HW Guy slower, would anyone still play that class? As it is, every class seems to be faster, it would end up seeming unbearably slow to play as a fatty. I think they should maybe make the spray on the minigun less accurate or lower the rate of fire.

Just town down the amount of damage the AC gives at long range (and make the damn model FATTER, he looks like a soldier or something now)
Also the scout needs to be a little faster (ye thats right, i said faster!) |

I voted for Spy.
I can pump him full of shells from a few feet away and he still gets a knife in and lives. I suspect we could deal with a little less armor on Spies. |

but doesnt the HW guy carrying around the biggest f%$#@#$ gun there is in the game. it is a damn gattling gun and he is slow as hell so just like TFC he deals the most damage fast. That is why allot of tfc servers banned the class but a solly or a sniper can take his fat ass out real quick without any problems. Thats why we all called the fattys because we hated those SOB's but when we killed them we leaped for joy as we were just given the keys to a new Lamborgini. I say I love you fattys but, I love to hate you. You and your revolving barrle spraying the entire map with bullets. I talking to you the obese hunchback of Nrotre Dame. I am coming for you and when I am done I will be frying myself up some fatty burgers on my grill.

i voted soldier. Seems i cant match to the soldier as any other class but the soldier. I can handle going up against any other class with a demoman but soldier. seems like i have to 7 direct hits from my pipes

The only thing the HW needs right now is to do less damage at range. As it stands right now he's like a sniper with a machine gun. Heh.

Maybe the accuracy could drop at range..........
but no matter what he is spraying large caliber bullets everywhere. I am guessing it would hurt real bad in real life. I have tested that the rocket jump would work in real life with little or no damage to your physical body.

The HW is faster than in TFC. I dunno if this is a bad thing but it makes him more of a threat than before. The over heat function can easily be overcome by tapping and releasing at the right rate to maintain continuous fire. That being said his increased speed is not being checked by his rate of fire. In addition, he seems a bit thin to be packing so much firepower. Give that boy a steak! Maybe then he'll slow down and behave like a proper HWGUY

I love my HWguy Though he could be slowed down a wee bit, and the spread a bit greater over a distance, as most people have said.Maybe even lower the overheat timer by a second to make it harder to maintain. Still a fun class though.
