Specs to run FF

I'm not sure if there is already a post out there asking for what would be the recomended specs to run FF so i'll pose the question now. What would you guys say shou;d be the required specs for FF. If it threaded for dual core? How much ram will I need and what line of video cards would you guys recomend for this game.

its based off of the source engine, meaning that anything that hl2 has, it will have and anything hl2 lacks, it will lack. it won't have any special optimization for dual core machines. its an hl2 mod, they can't access that stuff

Let me tell you this much You will need a comp that can run hl2 at max spec in order to play FF at low settings cause Some of these mappers can't make maps correctly.

I'll tell you that with 2.0GHz, 1gig ram, and a X1600 Pro it runs like a charm.

Depends what kind of 2.0GHz CPU he's talking about. 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo = way faster than 2.0GHz P4.

I have an AMD Athlon 2.2ghz, 1gb Ram, and a GForce 6200LE 256mb video card. FF runs great on my set up.

Consider HL2's old "recommended" specs to be a good baseline.

I used to have a P4 2.8ghZ CPU and i got about 1-30 fps with a 7900GS gfx card, I now have a c2d e4400 (low-end these days?) with the same gfx card and get 200+ fps!

My CPU is a TOTAL bottleneck. Windows clocks it as a P4 running at 2.02GHz.
But I run HL2 like a charm. FF seems to hum along fine
