Spy feedback
I love the spy in just about all areas. However, I find the menu troubling to navigate during combat and I find myself accidently cloaking alot etc. It appears to be by click on the first set of options, but then by hover on the next set?
Just some feedback. |

Also, the spy appears to enemys and friend, if disguised, that he has a crowbar out if he has his knife out. You can't change that to what it was like in TFC?

That's intentional. You appear to hold whatever slot# the class has.
So, disguise as a Soldier, nailgun out, you have the rocket launcher.

I think it's rather well thought of, should be enough to fool most players (on pubs anyway)

It looks like im going to do something nice to his sentrygun. But then, it's all over. ITS SABATOGED. So far, the record for me is 4 sabatoged sentryguns at once. But there should be an indicator to show what weapon your showing up as. Last edited by voogru; 09-14-2007 at 09:22 AM. |

Are sentries locking onto cloaked spies by design? Seems to happen regardless of disguise.

Yup, by design. SGs will lock onto cloaked spies, even if you're disguised whilst cloaked.

I consider the cloacking some kind of 'layer' a sentry-gun can detect. This 'layer' is on top so the disguise doesn't work properly.
Either way I think it's a much better alternative to the default-weapon approach in TFC. |
