Orange Box Commercial

Watching SportsCenter this morning and eating Frosted Flakes, I wept openly during a commercial break as an Orange Box commercial (the first i've seen) came flashing across the screen, I dropped my spoon, it fell in slow motion, and I was very afraid.

The reasoning for this thread is to poke at the community again to GET THE WORD OUT! We don't HAVE the luxury of national television...get off your respective asses and do something!

I'm still waiting for T-shirts...

Also, I'm thinking about buying a green backpack and customizing it by sewing a "TF" patch onto the center of it. Then I'll put my books in it and carry it around campus.
But, I'm afraid I'll accidentaly press my "q" key and throw it at one of my professors in mid-lecture...
Even more dangerous if someone tossed an EMP grenade at it...

Didn't it strike fear in your soul? I recorded it with tivo and slowed it down and between the Portal and TF2 clips, I saw a subliminal message that said:

"Gabe Newell > Fortress Forever"

Prolly true as he could eat the entire east coast.

ok, if we didnt have gabe, we would not have TFC (note i said TFC, not TF) and not have Source, and not have HL, and other things.

Wasn't TFC originally a Quake 2 game that was ported to the the HL engine...?

like i said. i said TFC, not TF. TF was a mod for Q1. the ORGINAL designers (NOT valve) were planning to make TF2 for Q2. they were hired by valve instead. They released TFC to basically "hold over" people until TF2. TF2 was orginally supposed to be out in like 2000-2001. The orginal videos for TF2 were realistic, gritty, and very very very different from any TF game, still running on the HL1 engine, tho. much more different than the current TF2. TF2 then became vapor-ware.... and then you know what happens next

i must agree, we need FF merchandise. here i'll tell you a story.

my son is 8 months old. my mother and sister are already planning his birthday party(gf and my family dont get along). my gf started bitching about them planning it and i jumped in and said none of y'all are planning it, i am bitches, huzzah! annnnyway, i told them he was having a FF themed b-day party. so i would love for his cake to have lil sollies,demo's and snipers on it.(i'll tell him the spy is on there but hes cloaked, hahaha). also any other ornaments,decorations, child t-shirt's and other clothes y'all can come up with i would like to get, thank you!

oh yea did i mention that the cake is going to look like a bloody battle field! get on it!!!!

P.S. my best friends dad owns his own Athletic Store and they print t-shirt's along with caps and stuff. maybe the Dev team could come up with a few designs for us to us to go out and get our own made?
