Damn Christians!
it seems the church get more and more desparate for "bums on seats" as put in today's magazine article on BBC news:

I'd seen these adverts on TV and had absolutely no idea what they were for, too many adds like that these days. I'd want my money back if Id paid an advertising agency for an ad like that. Religion is a hard sell though. Not like fried chicken! Maybe they should cover Jesus in a delicious crispy batter?

that would be the Protestant Church of England would it not? As far as I know the Catholic and Orthodox churches are doing a hell*(scuze the pun) of a lot better attendances-wise...

the general trend these days in the UK is that people have better things to do besides religion. i know i do. however, i dont think the same can be said for the immigrants (and descendants of) who follow other religions.
one of my best friends is rather the hardcore christian, and after attending his baptism (my insight into wtf goes on behind those doors) i can quite safely they say they are fucking barmy, hence why their adverts are unintentionally geared towards themselves. |

its far more interesting to look at in more detail and realise that while some churches are shrinking, others are growing and look at the demographics behind that.

[singing]
Missionaries: We've got this notion that we'd quite like to sail the ocean, so we're building a big boat to leave here for good. We're not keen on sinking and now we're sitting here a-thinking, cos we built it too big and we've run out of wood. Eidle-eidle-ee! Eidle-eidle-ee! We simply can't leave till we get some more wood. We're not keen on skiking so we're all sitting here a-thinking cos we simply can't leave till we get some more wood. |

So I guess your IT teacher didn't teach you about arguments to functions yet?

ok i cant remember exactly how qbasic does funcions, probably square brackets or something, but yes, i have been taught about functions, except i call them parameters, not arguments, something you seem to like getting into :p
now really, post something that achieves something other than taking a stab at somebody. you might make a friend or two being friendly. EDIT: in fact i even regret questoning where the (1) came from in innoc's post. i was just curious where it came from, whereas mikey boy here just wants an argument |
