A new work from Ihmhi is available for your viewing pleasure. See also a sublime work from Zydell which, rescued from obscurity, now stands open for the public to see.
N.B. Ihmhi has kindly offered to host images for anyone on his server. Feel free to PM him with your image details and he will be delighted to help.

Please admire the works from some of our newest artists. Geokill, Ihmhi and Hawk Eye. GeoKill's works show particular promise as he is one of the few artists who has taken his 'moving' art beyond the realm of static representation.

has vanished.

As always the Exhibition is looking for more artist's and more artwork. (Especially official FF concepts) Showcase your work and claim notoriety around the globe.*

History:
The FF Gallery was established in 2006 to promote the work of contemporary and surrealist artists across the world.

Since opening, the Gallery's Collection, exhibitions, audiences and programs have grown in size, complexity and diversity. Following the Great Server Crash of 2006 the Gallery embarked upon a renovation project, encouraged and funded the well-wishers Suite307 and Ihmhi. This resulted in the opening of its current architecturally-acclaimed second thread in the General Discussion of 2007.

The plans to include an outdoor feature pool have been postponed indefinitely.

As well as having a permanent display of fine paintings and drawings, the FF Gallery boasts some of the finest works, from international and national artists alike.

The FF Art Gallery is open to the public seven days a week.

*Disclaimer: You may 'claim' global notoriety. This may or may not entitle you to wild parties with celebrities, cultivating a moustache goatee and interviews with TeenVogue and/or the Economist.

Artist's notes: Just made it grainy, put the sniper in with a new arm position, created a modest light burst from the sun and enhanced its brightness and made the face / suit of the sniper reflect the light to make it look more natural.

Critical appreciation: The aptly titled Medic 1 2 3 is a powerfully suggestive work, which serves at one level to criticise the health insurance culture of America, and on another, to compliment the dynamic form with a conceptual allusion to infinity apparent in the title. Indeed, the jumping medic seems, like Prometheus, bound to the eternal repetition of his motions. A punishment, perhaps, for a crime that leaves the viewer questioning the very nature of sin itself.

Critical analysis: Reminiscient of Salvador Dali's 'Soft Construction With Boiled Beans' this work's highly Freudian allusions to the release of the subconscious (represented by the mythical dragon), marks it out as a truly remarkable piece. What it has to do with Fortress-Forever I have no clue, but one should never be so bold as to question the artist's intentions. No doubt the answer is obvious and shall be revealed in time.

Eh, the ones that aren't on the site anymore are still on my harddrive somewhere.

The site... it almost got used that time, I swear!... Yeah, I dunno. Need to sort out my art again and put the shit on there. Which... actually that's exactly what I do now, you just don't see it ever 'cuz it's all stashed in the image folder along with every stupid thing I decide to make.

On a related note, anybody know of any, like... art blogs? A photo blog would work. Something I can install myself.

Mneh, I have a buttton of bandwidth that I am not really using, and so long as the images are JPEGs and whatnot I am fine with it. Any BMPs will be ruthlessly converted! d;

I will get around to downloading the images, uploading them to my server, and then PMing you the new links so you can update the thread.
