A vote to change the international standard maptime from 30 minutes to 20 minutes

30 Minutes is WAY too long these days... we live in a quick world now... I simply don't have the stamina I used to have. My hand literally seized up playing a pickup game just now for 30 minutes.

I think 20 minutes a map would be ideal for clan games, who's with me?

Also, I found myself getting bored after 20 minutes of doing the same thing. I have no idea how I used to put up with playing scout on attack for hours on end, only to die most the time.

I agree. Spend more than an hour playing a match (if it has 2 maps to play) is exausting

i agree 30 minutes is too long...especially when one team is destroying another

What i'm trying to say is, 30 minutes a map in a clan game is a waste of time- you aint really gona learn anything new that you would just having 20 minutes.

40 minutes a game just seems so much better, giving you that extra 20 minutes in the hour to do other stuff, maybe read Da Vinci code or start watching Lord of the Rings movies 2 and 3 (somethings on my TO DO list)

I kinda agree, too. BF2 rounds last about 15 minutes and can seem quite long. TFC was ~30 minutes. Maybe 20-25 minutes would be better.

THe point is, the 30 minutes drags on, it really does.

I don't know- to me, 30minutes seems fine. I'm not super attached to the number though. It is nice knowing that you can have a max of 20 thirty second timers going off.. o.0
I feel like the first 15minutes of a match is set toward seeing how the other team plays.. the next 10 is about both teams fumbling trying to find a good counter to the other.. and the last 5 with a set, solid strat (best action in those last 5).

Agreed on the 20 minutes for matches, I notice at about 11 mins left I start glancing at how much time there is left. I also played a 45 minute Dustbowl where Offense didn't get the flag capped on point 3 until there was a minute and a half left, damn that was a long match.

Agree with fri, 25mins including prematch means you can get a game in under an hour.
