Best Mail Order Hardware site/supplier for UK/EU

Ok the only two suppliers I really know of in the UK for mail order PC components are Simply and OverClockersUK. The OCUK site is fine and I've worked out a system, but I want to compare prices or see if I can get the parts cheaper. The Simply search and order function is horrendous, totally unusable for comparison.
Can anyone recommend some good, reliable mail order suppliers of PC parts that oeprate in the UK/EU?

www.ebuyer.co.uk and www.komplett.co.uk have both given me plenty of joy. More so than simply.co.uk ever have. One item I ordered from them, they messed me about for over two weeks, then told me the item was no longer available. I went and bought it from ebuyer instead. And the second item I ordered from them took over a week to arrive because they wouldn't process the order, and instead of telling me why, asked me to phone an expensive number instead, with no warning or details as to why. Only after I sent three emails basically threatening to cancel the order and go elsewhere for the second (and what would be the last) time, did they phone me up and explain it all.

Turns out I got my cards mixed up and entered the wrong expiry date

Also, check www.pcindex.co.uk for finding parts cheaply.

Oh yes, OCuk are fairly good, they even upgraded my graphics card for free (costing them 50) when my one was not in stock for over a week.

no! Ebuyer is BAD DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I ordered a hard drive, and I got screwed around so much, i waited 1 week for it, to find out it was never dispatched. I went to phone them up, oh look, no phone number! Went to email them, oh look no email either! You have to use thier things called 'enotes' when it takes them 5 frickin days to respond. Waste of time.

A number of online retailers are great until you require some sort of post-sale custom service, such as if you need an rma. Ebuyer has had stick in the past for being difficult in this respect, which is why there's quite a love/hate relationship going on.

I use aria.co.uk

However, thier customer service also leaves somthing to be desired. I placed an order, and put my work address as my billing address (Was having it delivered to work). Fair enough, my bad. However, I didn't find this out untill a week later when I finally phoned them. Its rediculous, they simply had my transaction on hold, but didn't call/email/write. Mind you, this was around the time they moved buildings, so that may have been what it was.

However, every other deal with them has been fantastic. As long as nothing gums up the works, they are fast and cheap, like the best women

I personally had great service from ebuyer when I had to return a scanner. From what I've read, my case seems to be the exception, though. Every cheap hardware supplier generally has bad support and after-sales care. You gets what you paids for.

Yeah, but bear in mind that the savings are sometimes offset by delivery charges if you order multiple items from different suppliers. I usually just order all my stuff from one supplier as long as it's not going to cost much more dinero. Much less hassle when trying to figure out what has arrived and what citylink has inevitably fucked up / lost / broken.

I might try and brass neck it and say "I can get that cheaper elsewhere, what can you match them?" and offer them full order if they can match the lowest price on each

As long as you can get a cigarette lighter and cup holder like this http://www.xoxide.com/xray1.html its all good.

(BTW my wife and I are big enough geeks that we are actually installing one of these in our PC)

Please, please, please avoid ebuyer like the plague, for the sake of your own sanity.

Just after Christmas I put in an order consisting of 3 items. The package showed up a week late with one item missing and another was the wrong thing. Enotes are a waste of time too, took 3 weeks for them to respeond to one.

Avoid avoid avoid.
