We at Custom-TFC are sorry for the actions that took place with your sound files. The files been remomved promptly, at your request. However, we can only assume, that when such files of other people have been submitted, due to the ammount of time and effort required to affirm it, that the proper consent has been given to the submitter, as it is laid out on the Submit page rules. Needless to say, any files will be removed at the author's request. Don't hesitate to contact us at our forums or at submissions@custom-tfc.co.uk. Thank you.

If you had downloaded and tested the sounds, you'd know that a lot of time wasn't put into it

Bah, that sucks. I'll have to hoard the files in my browser's cache until you guys release the mod now.

What's this? Someone submitted altered FF sounds and claimed they were his own? Man, that's lame :/

No, it was the FF sounds converted for use in TFC without consent.

That's lame.

But hey, we all know what's up and the problem's been fixed so nothing to worry about now. Sorry it had to end this way, but like I said, all will end well so it's good.
Looking forward to some more original sounds for the game's release.

*shakes head* There is no substitute for talent. And it takes a child's maturity to plaigarize. But their response was professional.

the custom-tfc team probably didn't submit them though...

i think the main problem wasn't that they were used without consent, but the fact they were so low quality and people were saying how poor they were. this would give people a bad impression of FF when infact, according to the devs, the sounds are awesome ingame. well that was my guess at least. and perhaps the fact that FF isn't even out yet.

Ghroth.

although stealing its lame, I would see it as a compliment (nontheless taking credit for your work is outrageous).

no wonder at all why ppl think your sounds are better then the original sounds of TFC.

I hope you change your mind , i enjoyed listening to your sounds , its the closest ill get to TFC till FF is released =/

Wait.

Isn't their a way so that they can't steal the sounds, just like yahoo music?

This way we could still hear the sounds.

-_- It's not a big surpise, and it surely isn't a big deal, it was taken care of quite fast and effectively, every game no matter when their sounds are released, will always be taken and used without consent, sucks? yea, happens? all the time, bleh blar blargg ;o! It happens whata yeh expect! Atleast the custom-tfc webbers took care of it :>

It seems someone downloaded the sounds Ghroth has made from the website , published them on www.custom-tfc.com (so people can use these sounds when playing tfc) as it was his own work without asking Ghroth or any other dev.

Obviously Ghroth and the others didnt want their work to be used in that way....
