Looks amazing, but two things scare me.

They say they're trying to improve on the level design, but that probably just means "completely linear levels every single time". Hopefully not.

And those weapon models are massive. They take up close to a quarter of the screen, nearly half when it's being iron sighted, compared to maybe...a twentieth to a fifteenth in the original?

As it says in that video, regular FOV and model size can be changed.
So, can just make them smaller (phew).

Doesn't it use Unreal Engine, meaning that to get the rights to change any C++ code you need a license?

I mean, the game scripting, which you might be able to make the classes, etc. in might not be enough (Unreal Development Kit). I think that to be able to add bhopping, you'll need the Unreal Engine SDK, which you need a paid license for.

Dunno tho, I might just be chattin' shit.

They just started doing preorders for this on steam. $15 and includes the original Rott and Blake Stone. Anyone else picking this up?

There is multiplayer, they just haven't stated what specific modes will be available at launch. They developers have been saying they want a good emphasis on modding the game so its future won't be limited to the multiplayer options at launch. Also, access to things such as steam workshop for custom content.

This game is unplayable on my system even on "low".

This is supposed to be a PC game, right? Why the fuck does it have mouse acceleration? Garbage.

Guess I'll be waiting weeks 'till it's playable.

Nope. It has plenty of options, but you get that console port feeling when you first play the game where the mouse is insanely sensitive and needs to be turned almost all the way down.

This fix was used in some unreal engine games, and it actually seems to do the trick in this game.

Go to your steamapps/common/Rise of The Triad/Engine/Config/BaseInput
as well as Users/yourname/mydocuments/mygames/riseofthetriad/rottgame/config/rottinput

Find these lines and replace them:
