Capture the Flag Maps

Goals

Flags are often used in CTF.

Capture the flag (CTF) is a very simple game type. Each team has an item (often a flag) within their base. The goal of the game is to pick up the enemy team's flag and bring it back to your base, while simultaneously stopping the enemy from doing the same. Taking the flag all the way back to your base's cap point earns the player and team points. The team with the most points at the end of the game wins.

Variations on the CTF Theme

  • Security deactivation - requires a security system to be deactivated (using via a button or lever) before the flag can be accessed (see example: shutdown2).

Typical Features

  • Flag returns after 60 seconds regardless of position.
  • 10 team points per capture.
