The IC is primarily a medium-range weapon; it&amp;#039;s arc prevents it from being used as an effective long-range weapon with any sort of accuracy. The weapon&amp;#039;s splash damage will set an enemy on fire, so don&amp;#039;t worry if you don&amp;#039;t directly hit your target. You also don&amp;#039;t have to reload it.&lt;br /&gt;

The IC, like it&amp;#039;s big brother the RPG, can be used to make long jumps. Simply fire the weapon downward while jumping. You&amp;#039;ll fly up, but because the Pyro is flame-retardant, he will not be set on fire. While you won&amp;#039;t fly as far as a rocket jump would, you&amp;#039;ll suffer less damage than you would from a rocket jump.&lt;br /&gt;

The RPG is a very versatile weapon. It&amp;#039;s power makes it very effective against Scouts and Medics, making it invaluable playing defense. On offense, it can be used to Rocket Jump, bypassing certain parts of a map (and possibly fortified areas), in addition to softening up offense so that Medics and Scouts can take them down faster. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
To effectively use the Rocket, aim at your target&amp;#039;s feet. While you may not inflict a ton of damage and gib your target as often as you would aiming directly at him, aiming at the feet assures that the target will suffer a good portion of damage, no matter what. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Be sure to keep an eye out on your magazine; those four rounds dissapear quickly. Whenever you have any downtime, reload. The game is set to reload automatically, so just stand in a corner for a few seconds and your magazine will be refilled without having to do anything. If you need to fire, the reloading process doesn&amp;#039;t prevent you from firing a round or two.&lt;br /&gt;

The only downsides are that it eats ammo like crazy and that only the Medic has it, but otherwise it&amp;#039;s excellent.&lt;br /&gt;

The Tranq Gun is primarily used to assure a backstab on a target by slowing him down. Since most probably won&amp;#039;t notice you losing your disguise, and since you&amp;#039;ll get your enemy&amp;#039;s disguise once you backstab him, it&amp;#039;s a good idea to tranq him to assure a kill, but doing so will alert him to your presence.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It can be hypothetically used to slow down attackers, but the dart travels so slow that the attackers will probably get long out of range long before it makes contact, and the downtime between shots will make it very difficult to fire a second shot quickly.&lt;br /&gt;

To effectively use the Assault Cannon, fire it at close to medium range. The bullets will spread at long range, making it difficult to effectively harm a target at a distance. The assault cannon also has a very short windup time before it begins firing.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The AC can destroy anything if the target is close to it, so try to use it at chokepoints so that the enemy has to get close to you before moving on. At minimum, it&amp;#039;ll inflict a serious amount of damage.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Be careful; while you&amp;#039;re firing the minigun, your speed will be halved. It&amp;#039;s best to stay at one position when using this weapon, so that your attempt at trying to chase an enemy isn&amp;#039;t thwarted by your reduced speed.&lt;br /&gt;

This is a great weapon against nearly every class. It does good damage and it&amp;#039;s spread makes it viable up to medium distance, so you don&amp;#039;t have to run up to your target and open fire. For the Engineer and Medic, it is the strongest weapon in their arsenal, while it&amp;#039;s a great backup weapon for Soldiers, Spys and HWGuys. Don&amp;#039;t ever underestimate this weapon.&lt;br /&gt;

Be careful; even though it&amp;#039;s magazine capacity is 16 shells, it uses two shells every time you hit the Fire button. Basically, this means you have eight shots before you must reload. In addition, every time the reloading animation shows your guy putting in a shell, he&amp;#039;s really putting in two.&lt;br /&gt;
