<p></p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>=Content=<br /> The substitute system is something that the FF team can try out at a later date, once everything is fairly well developed (i.e. it is low priority for the moment).<br /> <br /> ==Setup==<br /> Each team has a set number of [[Class:Substitute|Substitutes]] that sit on a virtual &#039;bench&#039;, waiting to join the game. This number can be set by the server operator (ff_substitutes [0 or -1 for off, then 1,2,3,4 or however many the server the server can handle]) , and is designed for use in clan games. Substitutes show up on the scoreboard in a separate area.<br /> <br /> ===Restrictions===<br /> Substitutes:<br /> * Can view only their teammates, and exist as a restricted type of Spectator<br /> * Are locked to a first-person perspective.<br /> * Can use team chat to communicate with their team mates (both read and send).<br /> * Can use voice communications to communicate with their team mates (both hear and speak).<br /> * May change to a proper class when permitted to do so by the server settings and (possibly) their teammates<br /> <br /> Please see the discussion page for an outline of some problems we face with this feature.</div>
