We could have it so that the medikit has a couple of (or more) animations:

  • Infect
  • Heal
  • Cure

Each of these would simply be the same as the others, but with the medic pressing different buttons with his thumbs. I believe the medikit concept has a couple of buttons and a few needles, meaning one can be used for healing and the other for attacking. We could do something like left thumb heal, right thumb infect, both thumbs cure.

Obviously the different animations would have to be coded in if we did this, as the game would need to call the appropriate animation. If this is too much trouble, or doesn't look good, we can simply revert to old style medpacking.
