The gas grenade emits a noxious blend of gasses and harmful chemicals that causes people to start seeing things. It was removed in version 2.4, but many public servers have a mod installed that brings it back.

If inside the area of effect, there is a blanket damage level of 1 per second. Stacking gas grenades do not have a cumulative effect.
